A family Spanish tapas bar and restaurant based in Pimlico, London. We were first established in 1993 and have been on the same premises since the start. Goya Restaurant was originally started by a Galician who loved life and his Spanish tapas. Today, the restaurant continues its family tradition, and is run by his son and grandsons.
Our food and classic tapas are freshly cooked at Goya using the very best Spanish ingredients and traditional recipes.
Our stylish decor provides a relaxed ambience. The fantastic food, combined with our friendly staff and great location, makes for a great lunch or evening out. We have an outside terrace for when the sun is shining, and a large subterranean seating area for larger parties.
Goya has become a winning formula in the heart of Pimlico. Specialising in authentic Spanish tapas, the restaurant has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

“A cheery vibe prevails as waistcoated waiters whisk around with plates of rustic food for the business execs and Westminster politicos who congregate here at lunchtime. Patriotic paellas, bowls of zarzuela, kidneys in sherry sauce and breadcrumbed veal escalope with piquillo peppers complement an extensive line-up of tapas taking in the likes of patatas bravas, chicken croquetas, calamares with alioli and Galician-style pork fillet. Arched alcoves and heavy wooden chairs add to the rustic vibe in the basement dining room, while the buzz in the more relaxed ground-floor tapas bar is regularly punctuated by the sound of popping Cava corks. During the summer, the party spills out onto the street.”

“Fantastic Spanish food – including a wide range of good-quality tapas but also with an interesting variety of larger main dishes – has attracted a loyal local following for this Hispanic veteran in Pimlico over more than three decades – great service adds to the fun. Not far from Victoria, it’s a handily situated and affordable venue for larger groups.

“A great little local restaurant. Today, the food, wine, and service were all fabulous. The highlight was the Chorizo. Very tender and cooked perfectly. The Pan Goya was also delicious and great for scooping up the butter sauce from the Gambas al Ajillo. The recommended 3 dishes per person was more than adequate for our group of five. The house wine, Acantus Tempranillo, was very nice and complimented the food perfectly.”
